Unfortunately our waiter seemed clueless when it came to ordering the wine. He had no knowledge of the wine list. He also struggled when taking the food order and couldn't understand what we were saying. We had to point at items on the menu. Luckily, a more senior person interacted with us at times, however, the group as a whole was disappointed with the level of service.

Food was great. The Waiter was extremely annoying - we just sat down and he asked what we wanted to order when he only just handed us the menus. He then proceeded to come over every minute to ask even when we asked him to give us 5 minutes - my lunch guest and I hadn’t seen each other for a while and wanted to say hi first. I then said we’d wave him when we were ready, which he said fine but still came over twice more in the end we just ordered. It wasn’t busy, it was only 15 minutes from arrival to our order- a little emotional intelligence would have gone along way to allow two friends who clearly hadn’t seen each other for a while without the constant interruptions. Attentive service to the point of actually just annoying- if it was busy and the table was required fine, but that wasn’t the case here.

Had a lovely evening with a friend, food and service was great, thank you. Facilities need a tidy up but it was nothing that spoiled the evening. The location is tricky to find because it’s not signed outside as it’s above another Ramsey restaurant. Unfortunately Google has an incorrect address listed, it would be fab to get it corrected. Neither of these points would stop me returning however 😊

We were seated in a table in the sun and had to be moved two times as we were baking in there. The Yorkshire was just soaked in oil from sitting in the pan all day, I make better Yorkshire at home. The beef was just meh. This was a real letdown as I had been twice before in 2019 and 2020 and it was way better. And for the final slap in the face they cancelled my open table reservation, after I had checked in…so they didn’t have to give me my points…super cheap. Not going back…

We waited 30 mins before our drinks arrived . We had the Sunday Roast . The meat was delicious but on the tough /chewy side . The horseradish cream was very weak , needed more flavour . The food was not served very hot . Plates were a bit cold so my meal was cold before I could finish . Staff were very pleasant , just could have been a bit more attentive .

Nothing special. Tuna tar tar was horrible. Fresh fish, but dish had no distinct flavor. Fish and chips, sundae were amazing.
