   This restaurant was excellent. From the time we sat down until the time we left it was a great experience Our waitress was the best , never rushed us and always available when needed The Food! Wow! Baguette with French butter, hot and delicious, scallops in the shell with lobster sauce so good, I drs k the sauce out of the shell. But the mushroom tart was to die for !!! Oysters were fresh and very good. Dinner - Branzino in butter caper sauce with mash and green beans. Excellent!! My Italiss as n friends said the Polenta was the best they ever had Dessert - Yes!! Chocolate fondant with gold leaves and vanilla ice cream. OMG Definitely done here

   As far as my family is concerned, this is THE PLACE to go in San Antonio for great French food. Today was no exception. We are already planning for a follow on event. As far as crowds and parking go, weekdays are far easier that going of the weekend.

   The food was perfect. We sat outside on the patio and the ambiance there was like out of a movie. Such a great night. The best part was our service. Isaiah was wonderful and it made for an easy relaxing experience all the way around.

   Absolutely the best restaurant we visited during our 5 days in San Antonio. The service was outstanding as was the food. The bone marrow, Rabbit and Chicken cordon bleu were tops on our list of foods we tried. This restaurant is a must try.

   Chou Chou is a popular establishment celebrated for its cuisine and ambiance. A French restaurant, Brasserie Mon Chou Chou offers a menu featuring classic dishes. However, the restaurant deviates from fundamental French dining etiquette. It resembles a Disneyfied version of Paris, catering to individuals unfamiliar with Parisian cuisine and restaurants. Notable issues include prioritizing quantity over quality and disregarding regional specialties. For example, the escargot was overcooked and rubbery, served in a bland sauce with insufficient garlic. It was accompanied by Ciabatta Italian bread instead of the traditional French baguette. Given these shortcomings, we would not recommend returning to dine at Brasserie Mon Chou Chou. Rating: 6 out of 10 In light of these concerns, we recommend opting for Tex-Mex cuisine in San Antonio on our next visit.
