    We were looking forward to a really good dining experience in a French restaurant in Montreal. The cheese board and baguette was really good. The French Onion Soup was unusual and the mains just average.

    We arrived 5 minutes before the reservation as requested. We were a party of 3. We waited 45 minutes for our entree and an additional hour for our main meal. I was dumbfounded by the wait. No offer to have a glass on the house or desert just an apology for the late meal. It was too bad because I recommended this place to tourists and the fact that the food was so tardy, it ruined the pleasant ambience, kind staff and good food.

    Ce n’est pas la première fois que je vais à la Brasserie 701 mais ce fut la première fois pour le brunch. Bénédictine au homard était excellent. Mon amie a pris un bagel au saumon fumé et elle m’a dit que c’était excellent.

    The valet parking as described in Trip advisor was not available. The restaurant, however, however, is close to the Metro. Portion size is small for the price.

    Je n’ai rien à redire sur la nourriture, le décor ou l’ambiance, qui étaient très bien. En revanche, l’attitude de la serveuse qui s’est occupée de notre table a été extrêmement condescendante. Je ne sais pas si cela était lié au style vestimentaire ou à la façon de s’exprimer de certains membres de mon équipe, mais ses commentaires désobligeants et son ton hautain m’ont complètement enlevé l’envie de revenir dans votre établissement. Nous étions présents dans le cadre du congrès dentaire, mais il m’arrive aussi d’y venir à titre personnel. C’est vraiment dommage.
