   The food was amazing. Our waitress explained everything to us about how to order and the portion sizes which was so helpful. She was top notch and made our first experience there the best.

   Bar type of experience, very small and a lot of noise . For the price point, food and service just is not there . Steak was best item. Served on hot plates and cooked to perfection which left it very tender and juicy. Potatoes were undercooked, mushrooms just okay , mashed potatoes were very greasy and carrots were seasoned oddly. Tea seemed to be a bottled tea, if not it doesn’t taste like fresh brewed tea . As far as service seems server was doing her best but overwhelmed .

   Once again, a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From Ella's greeting (this lady does it all - hostess, server, slices steaks!), to the dessert, it was all excellent. Rhonda (our server) has been our server before, and she is always smiling and so efficient. But the highlight at this restaurant is the GM, Kendall. He always ensures the guests are happy. He is so proud of his staff (as he should be!), but his management style is also very much evident in everything they do. A great visit, and we will back!

   Jordan provided amazing service & the food was excellent. Great casual evening w/ family. Bowdies is a gem of HHI & so conveniently just outside Sea Pines gate. 🧡🥰🧡 Thank you Kendall & team.

   Bowdies has been my go to place for Steaks on HH since they opened. Usually the food is outstanding. Last night the Steak was just OK. The Potatoes Au gratin were hard and undercooked. My wife ordered the half Chicken and it was burnt on the outside. The Brussel sprouts were good. I would give it a 7 out of 10, when normally it’s a 9/10 or 10/10. It could be because it’s Heritage week and things are slightly off. I hope next time they return to greatness or I may have to cross them off my “go to” list.

   We ate at Bowdies during the RBC Heritage and WOW what an amazing experience. The food, service and drinks were outstanding. The cowboy ribeye and Kansas City were the best cuts of meat I’ve ever had.

    Everything was exceptional. Our only issue was we ordered steak medium and it was overly rare. They were very accommodating in correcting it.
