Food came cold and was unimpressed. Major service fails for what I expect at a higher end restaurant. Wanted to try for dinner but will skip over mediocre lunch experience.

This is the best burger I can remember having, and they can make it celiac friendly (gluten free) with a good GF bun. The fries are also outstanding, fried in duck fat and also gluten free no cross-contamination. That said, it did take 30 mins plus for our entrees to come out which was disappointing when we were starving. The Wagyu burger and the Prime steak burger are both phenomenal. My daughter also really enjoyed her kids chicken tenders!

My wife and I recently dined at Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons Washington DC, brimming with excitement for what we anticipated would be an exceptional evening at a venue renowned as a premier steakhouse. Our enthusiasm was met with a warm and attentive staff, whose kindness and professionalism set a promising tone for the night. However, our experience was marred by a significant disappointment with the food, which ultimately overshadowed the evening. We ordered the NY strip steak and the filet, both of which, frustratingly, arrived at our table barely room temperature. For a restaurant that prides itself on its steak prowess, this was a letdown that struck at the heart of our expectations. The presentation of the dishes also left much to be desired, especially when compared to our experiences at Capital Grille and Medium Rare in Northern Virginia. Those establishments consistently deliver vibrant, sizzling plates with impeccable attention to detail, placing Bourbon Steak a distant third in this regard. The meal’s shortcomings were particularly stinging given the hefty $450 price tag for our dinner for two. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the core of the experience—the food—failed to live up to the hype or the cost. Though our exuberance for a memorable night at Bourbon Steak was genuine, the execution fell short, leaving us hesitant to return when other local steakhouses have set a higher bar.

We had an amazing experience at Bourbon Steak. We were a group of four adults with a baby, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Mark, our server, was fantastic—attentive and kind. They were incredibly thoughtful with the baby, offering a high chair and sippy cup right away. We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s 64th birthday, and they surprised us with a handwritten birthday card signed by the team—such a special touch. The appetizers and entrees were outstanding, and the service was impeccable throughout. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
