   I recently dined at Bouboulina to celebrate a special occasion, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish – the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. As for the food, it did not disappoint. The whole branzino was a standout. Absolutely some of the best we’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and perfect sides to compliment the fish. The wagyu picanha was also very good, though I personally would’ve preferred a bit less char on the exterior, but it was still delicious. The chocolate cake was decadent and indulgent, and definitely a perfect way to end the evening on a sweet note. Overall, I would highly recommend Bouboulina for the impeccable food and service.

   I would recommend just going to the bar, grabbing a drink and getting an app. I paid $70 for a NY strip by itself and it wasn’t even that good. I could’ve gotten a cheaper steak at Ruth’s Chris that would’ve been way better. Wanted a baked potato and had to pay an extra $14 because everything is a la carte. They have a tomahawk steak for 2 that’s $160. Insane. I wouldn’t go for a meal again but will definitely swing by for a drink and appetizers. The ambiance and the service was great. That’s what you’re paying for.

   Impeccable. Ambiance to service, and dinner was delicious. They’ve outdone themselves. It was worth it just for the interior decor. Can’t wait to go back.

   The restaurant is gorg!! Our server Johnathan was incredible. He was full of personality, knew the menu and the background of the restaurant. He made great recommendations, excellent at maintaining the flow of our courses and pre-bussing the table as things moved along. Our cocktails were fresh and full of flavor. The burger is amazing as are the carrots. Truly everything was delish. The only downfall was the Branzino, it was chewy. I couldn't cut it with ease like you would normally cut fish. Not sure how else to describe it. The sauce was impeccable though. Dessert, ahhh the desserts! They were rich and decedent, worth every calorie filled bite. All in all, worth the visit and I can't wait to return for lunch and brunch when they open!!

   Food: The food was awesome. My wife and I shared the Crab Rolls appetizer (excellent) and we each had the filter mignon (excellent, served at both the levels of doneness we ordered). The steak quality was excellent, cooking technique and temperature was excellent, and sauce was excellent. Even the shared side dish "Hearth Roasted Carrots" was excellent. Unfortunately, we did not have enough room for dessert, but the desserts I saw go by the table looked delicious. We'll save room for our next visit. I had red wine with my main course and it was excellent. With our appetizer, I had a martini and my wife a non-alcoholic margarita. Both were unique and unlike anything we've had before, but were good. Can you guess my summary for food? That's right: EXCELLENT. Service: Service was amazing. I haven't seen that level of service at any place locally, except for a few Michelin star restaurants we've visited in DC. Knowledgeable, friendly, and fully attentive without being overbearing. Timing of food delivery was excellent - not rushed, and not delayed. ALL staff members were top notch. Ambiance: For us, Bouboulina easily ranks in the top tier for ambiance. Great for a romantic date, but relaxed enough for family/friend gatherings. Lighting was nicely dimmed. Tables were well spaced, and the seating was amazingly comfortable. Pleasant music was playing softly in the background. Beautifully decorated. Noise Level: Perfect. Not quiet like a library, but also not too loud and noisy. You could tell that other customers were happy to be there and enjoying their food and drinks. But you could easily carry on a conversation with people at your table, without overhearing what other tables are talking about. In summary: We'll definitely be returning... soon. I suspect if this Bouboulina maintains their food and service quality, that the folks at Michelin will be stopping by for a visit.

   Very cool and classy ambience. Their signature bread and butter was fantastic. Tuna crudo was light and refreshing. The meatball appetizer was the best I have had at any restaurant. The grilled branzino was the star of the meal. The steaks were just average, particularly the NY Strip. Outside had no crust and it felt like lesser quality. The filet was better prepared. The carrots as a side were fantastic and the baked potato was good too. The chocolate cake for dessert was delicious. I would definitely go back and would focus on the fish entrees.
