   Our server Manu and bartender Avi were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The tuna credo was delightful and the filet mignon was among the best in the area. You must not leave without experiencing the chocolate cake with espresso gelato. It was to die for!

   The most memorable thing about our dining experience was how loud the dining room was. We are not old and no one has hearing issues, but we could not hear our dinner mates across the table, it was so loud. I don’t know if it’s because the space is so small? Hope that something can be done to improve that situation. The prices are just way too high for the quality of meal and location of the restaurant. We were just in NYC and were accustomed to these prices for dinner there, but not at Pike and Rose. The food was good, but not at the price point. We enjoyed the bread, caesar salad, NY strip and filet. The baked potato and chocolate dessert were the highlights. The potato comes sitting in some sort of delicious creamy cheesey/buttery sauce. The chocolate cake had the perfect sweet/salty combo.

   First time. Will go again. Excellent service. Good food including dishes not typical for the type of restaurant that are worth trying & having again.

   I recently dined at Bouboulina to celebrate a special occasion, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish – the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. As for the food, it did not disappoint. The whole branzino was a standout. Absolutely some of the best we’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and perfect sides to compliment the fish. The wagyu picanha was also very good, though I personally would’ve preferred a bit less char on the exterior, but it was still delicious. The chocolate cake was decadent and indulgent, and definitely a perfect way to end the evening on a sweet note. Overall, I would highly recommend Bouboulina for the impeccable food and service.

   I would recommend just going to the bar, grabbing a drink and getting an app. I paid $70 for a NY strip by itself and it wasn’t even that good. I could’ve gotten a cheaper steak at Ruth’s Chris that would’ve been way better. Wanted a baked potato and had to pay an extra $14 because everything is a la carte. They have a tomahawk steak for 2 that’s $160. Insane. I wouldn’t go for a meal again but will definitely swing by for a drink and appetizers. The ambiance and the service was great. That’s what you’re paying for.

   Impeccable. Ambiance to service, and dinner was delicious. They’ve outdone themselves. It was worth it just for the interior decor. Can’t wait to go back.

    Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had, and would recommend 10/10. You enter this parlor like restaurant, and as you are taken to your table, you are transported to the 1920-1930s with a speakeasy vibe that just envelops you. We were surrounded by detail and decor that caused you to go from looking at one thing to the next. The lights were very dimmed, and made for a very romantic vibe. Our waiter, Orlando, was such a great host and made some incredible recommendations. We started with the Bouboulina bread, which is a milk bread enveloped with a smoky flavor. It comes with a butter and honey spread on the side which is incredible. Just this dish alone, I could've eaten for dinner and would have been thrilled. My husband got the Waygu and I got the lamb. Both were bursting with flavor and so tender. The waygu had a smoky buttery flavor but it was just enough that it didn't overpower the flavor of the waygu itself. The lamb was out of this world. It was tender and still tasted like lamb, and with each bite, you got a sneak peak of the red wine sauce it overlayed. The loaded baked potato was delicious and you could taste the smoke with each bite, and it had such a creamy texture with it. The asparagus dish ruined asparagus for me forever because I will never be able to eat asparagus and enjoy it after this one. This asparagus was cooked just enough but not too much so it still had a crunch, and there was a salty sweet sauce with a background hint of butter. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert and also tried the vanilla soft serve. The cake will knock your socks off. It’s topped with an espresso soft serve, and the cake is moist and you can taste each layer within the cake. The vanilla soft serve was amazing. I now know what real vanilla tastes like. If you haven't been to Bouboulina, you're missing out. This is our new favorite restaurant.
