The Bottle & Glass Inn is a lovingly restored pub from Alex Sergeant & David Holliday, focusing on a seasonal menu, a great wine list and a well loved beer selection.

Our ethos is to serve the best food and drink in a casual, friendly environment, without pretention and stuffiness.

Customers of all ages are welcome at all times in all areas of the pub and garden, including four-legged friends. We only ask that you respect our other guests and ensure dogs are clean and well behaved when visiting.

Delicious meal, particularly the prawn and crab cocktail which was packed with fish and flavour. All food stylishly presented. Lovely ambience in the restaurant, and really warm and welcoming. Really competent and cheerful waitress, very helpful. Couldn't fault the whole experience. Will return soon.

Food was enjoyable but not outstanding. Service was quite slow and a long wait on food considering the restaurant appeared fairly quiet but the staff were lovely. Definitely worth a visit though.

Excellent value. Ambience slightly spoiled by a cantankerous guest who was self opinionated, garrulous, unreasonably demanding and difficult. Made the waitresses life very difficult. None of this was the fault of B and G Inn Would certainly revisit

We’re local, we were turned away by a very snooty waitress at the barn, to what appeared to be a very empty barn, to be told they were only taking bookings (we’ve never had an issue with walkins before), in the meantime we tried to get a takeaway for the children in our party from the barn who were very hungry and getting restless, this was turned down too. We walked away, booked online for the pub (next door, same operators). Why wasn’t this open given to us… in the end we had to leave due to it taking too long to get seated by which point the children were far too hungry and we decided to leave for quicker food. We’ve taken many guest to the barn in the past and enjoyed the experience. Staff training needs improvement. We went to a pub in the centre of Henley in the end where nothing was too much trouble for them, offering a high chair and accommodating a last minute booking.
