   Solid food. Service was pitch perfect - party of 6 that arrived in 3 shifts: no problem - service was accommodating and rolled with us the whole way

   The food and service were okay. My wife’s pasta was somewhat undercooked, but my branzino was well prepared. The plates were a bit overpriced for the portions we received, especially the ricotta appetizer. It was a decent although unremarkable experience.

   Great food (really Italian), especially the pizza is fantastic. Good service and quite ambient, huge recommended

   Took 40 minutes to get our check after we finished. Waiter never even acknowledged us at that point. Had to flag down another waiter.

   Well, the water was good! Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. We just wanted a simple early dinner before the next day’s NYC Half Marathon, so the two entrees we ordered were the Spaghetti Pomodoro with salmon on the side, and Eggplant Parmigiana. Both were not good. The homemade pasta seemed like it must have been sitting in the pot for hours, and the eggplant was a nondescript lump on the plate. We cut our losses and opted to skip dessert. With so many great restaurants in NY, Botte Brooklyn was a disappointment.

   I was so happy they could accommodate a group as large as ours on such short notice. Food was great, the restaurant wasn't too loud, and everyone was happy.
