   We had high expectations for our visit, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no host to greet us, and despite having reservations, we had to seat ourselves—which wasn’t a problem, but it was unexpected. After seating ourselves, it took quite a while before anyone came by with menus, and even longer for someone to take our order. We were interested in ordering drinks, and our waiter mentioned he would bring a drink menu, but we didn’t receive it until our food arrived. By the time he returned to take our drink order, we were already halfway through our meal and had lost interest. Overall, the service was slow and disorganized, which made for a frustrating dining experience. We were looking forward to enjoying our time here, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations.

   We had a great time here! We decided last minute to get an early dinner reservation, and it did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal as was the service. It's a restaurant in a hotel so it's somewhat limited in the ambience hence why I gave that specific rating a 4/5. Only recommendation, and this is I have seen at most restaurants around Denver, is why is a mocktail $15, almost the same price as a cocktail? I would expect a mocktail to be $7-$8.

   Great hidden Gem across from University Hospital. Was a little skeptical of a hotel establishment but was pleasantly surprised . The Denver Dip is one of the best appetizers I have had in awhile . Good staff and quick service . Would recommend.

   My steak was undercooked the first go-round. The waiter was quick to fire up a new one for me. It took a while for it to come but that's only because all food is made to order fresh. Once it came it was one of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had. This place is a must-try!

   We went for Denver restaurant week and in my opinion, their menu wasn’t worth 55 a person. I started out with a salad that was actually okay, but really had no dressing on it. The fruit was fresh which was very nice. We also ordered drinks that were a little expensive, 15 a drink, and those were pretty okay. I also had the short ribs which were all fat, barely any meat, and a weird coffee sauce that ruined the taste of a braised short rib. The dessert was not very good either, it tasted and felt like it was in the fridge for at least overnight. Overall, I probably won’t be back.

   They had reservation time slots but the place was nearly empty except for the family when the kid jumping up and down on a piece of furniture. Doors leading directly into the restaurant were locked, as if they didn't want people coming in. Then after walking through the hotel to get in, was informed that they weren't accepting card payments and I had to either have a room at the hotel or use the ATM. Was so glad I drove 30 minutes for this experience.
