   Great Sunday lunch. 10 of us so pre-order requested Food was served in good tome and all had a meat roast....all very good. Good service. Very nice pub. Thank you

   Food was lovely but very expensive for drinks £20 for 3 lemonade and blackcurrant which was dearer than 3 pints

   the food was some of the best we have tasted for a long time and the menu choices was excellent

   We have dined with u many of times for breakfast and dinner. How ever on this visit we found the service was not up to standard like we have had previously, we were infirmed the drink I asked for you did not have in stick, however on leaving we checked the fridge at the bar and they seemed to be a fee bottles od th3 drink I asked for. No smile from staff and just did not feel very welcomed this time. The food was no where near as good as it was previously most of my food went to the dogs. I asked for a drink which then was forgotten about and when the food came out I said can I have the drink I ordered please, the young girl turnt roud and said ohh it should be coming but she forgot to put it in thw till . So we won't be returning here again very let down. Would rather eat in wetherspoons tbh

   Good experience - noise level was high due to vociferous youngster but it was Mothering Sunday so allowance should be made.

   Dinner for two at The Blue Ball. Started with bread and olives - the bread was white sliced with no butter or oil/balsamic and the olives were plentiful but no toothpicks or similar provided to eat them with, so used fingers. One portion size would have been enough for two people. Main courses were very good - I had the ribeye steak, which was served on a wooden platter with French fries, salad, mushroom and onion rings - great flavour and very filling. Tuna Niçoise salad was also very tasty and again a good size main course. Overall very good value and a popular/busy venue so pre-booking is recommended.

   Ample parking. Made to feel very welcome. Accommodate the dogs with clean water bowls and treats. Food cooked and presented very well. Will definitely go again.

   We really enjoyed our Saturday night meal at this great country pub. We had a lovely table and the staff were excellent. The food was fantastic - we had risotto, a chicken burger and sea bass - all very good. It was so nice we booked in the next day for Sunday lunch, which we also enjoyed.

    We had our engagement meal here and it was lovely - the staff went above and beyond to give us a special experience and we were so grateful. Food delicious, great selection of specials and good prices. Thank you!! Robin & Leona
