We were voted Best Restaurant in the Pinebelt 2018! Located in the heart of Hattiesburg, our New Orleans-style cuisine and energetic casual atmosphere will keep you coming back for more. We offer lunch specials Tuesday through Friday, Steak Night on Thursday, and Brunch and Live Music on the weekends. Our Shrimp and Grits include stone-ground grits, a creole cajun gravy and gulf shrimp that take you back deep down into the bayou. Come see us for a taste of New Orleans!

We are from out of town but have eaten at Blu Jazz Café several times now. It is always on point: great food, fabulous drinks, and incredibly efficient and friendly service!

Overall, good experience. The restaurant was able to accommodate my reservation for a large group. The food was great. My only complaint was that the lighting in the restaurant is very low, almost too dark. Had to use phone flashlight to read menu.

The food was amazing. I had the crawfish pasta and it was great! The cocktails were very good and the service was awesome. I was frustrated that I had made a reservation two weeks before, had called the restaurant twice with a confirmation to change the number in our party and got there only to discover they didn't have our reservation. Fortunately the hostess made it right and seated us right away although she did not have us down. Overall, our entire party loved their food and service although the band was so loud that it made it extremely difficult to hear because we were seated right next to them. The music was good and energetic but was not what I was expecting. Overall, I definitely give it a thumbs up due to the food and the service!
