   Girls day out for Sunday Brunch before The Fox. Friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced for the variety. Not fancy, perfect ambience to enjoy time with friends or family. Special notes - pastries were from scratch and outstanding! Mimosas just as good. Love the employee enabled concept. Will be back!!

   We absolutely love Bloom Cafe and take guests there for Sunday Brunch whenever we get the chance. Their cinnamon role bread pudding is incredible and my family loves the egg station. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is the best Sunday brunch around.

   My husband and I wanted to try this place because it had very good reviews. We expected the food and service would be what the review commentary said. Well, what a surprise and mayor disappointment did I experience. When we arrived at our appointed reservation time, we walked to the girl at the register as there was no hostess to seat us. We gave our name and said we had a reservation. We were told we had to pay first and the young lady pointed to where the coffee was at. I drink hot tea and asked where the tea was at. I was told the tea was not included in the breakfast buffet; that would be extra. No problem, we gladly paid for the buffet and tea bag. We were told to go to table xx. We walked around the bend and found our table number. We then walked into the next room where the food items were displayed. I wasn’t impressed with the appearance of some of the food items. I ordered an omelette with tomatoes and cheese and asked that it be cooked well (meaning no runny eggs) this is how I always, always order my omelette everywhere I go. To my amazement, when I returned for the egg, it was more than well done (NOT PRESENTABLE). I took the plate added a few potatoes and went for the bread. There were only two bagels in the basket and no bread. I asked a young man for bread which he appeared to be a bit confused about what I was asking for. I told him there were to bagels in the basket and I just wanted toasted bread. He returned with one slice of bread. That’s all I got. I ate a little piece of the burnt omelette and a few pieces of potatoes with half the bread. My appetite was completely gone. I don’t generally write a review but I feel that strongly about the experience I had and I don’t feel I should let it go unsaid. I didn’t complain while I was there because I don’t like making an issue about things while others may be enjoying their meal. Lesson learned: I’ll never solely go on reviews alone.

    Bloom Cafe is one of the best restaurants in the St. Louis area. It has a variety of choices on the menu and staff is always friendly and accommodating. I pass the word that friends need to go to Bloom!!!
