Found in the heart of Fitzroy, Blackout Restaurant, Bar and Lounge is the place to be!

Our venue is packed with neon lights, epic murals and keeps nothing but good vibes. RnB and Drill tracks keep the venue alive and popping 7 nights a week.

Absolutely delicious food, inventive cocktails, and high-quality shisha blends are always provided. Extremely friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff is something we take pride in at Blackout.

On weekends our venue is always bustling with patrons as they are kept entertained by DJ's (friday nights) and belly dancers (saturday night).

Throughout the week days, we also offer a number of special deals along with happy hour running 5:30-7:30.

    The food was awesome, staff was so nice especially Shri/Shree who served us and recommend some drinks as we were confused on what to get. The whole place was awesome.

    The service was absolutely terrible, the barkeep was rude to my friend and me when we went up to him. We had to ask staff to send someone over to change our coals or for them to give us a pair of tongs so we could do it ourselves and no one ever came. Mind you, we asked 4 different staff members. It wasn't even that busy and it was a horrible experience overall.

    Went here for my birthday and it was amazing! The cocktails were made well and looked pretty, the food everyone got was delicious and they kept my cake and brought it out with sparklers as well!! Staff were so friendly and overall vibe was fun. Will definitely visit again!

    Such a relaxing evening with good food and music and great shisha and cocktails. Coming back here again if I was in Melbourne!

    Had to wait at least 15-20 minutes for a table then another 15 minutes till we got served. Cameera was the best, she ensured our table was looked after and made the experience better. The shisha were definitely worth the wait. Never fire the person making the shisha.

    Had such an enjoyable night here with my friends. The music was on point (hip hop vibes), shisha was fun and the food was immaculate.
