The service was wonderful and so was the location. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. It was only just above standard of pub food. We had three side dishes. Corn, Mash Potato and Chips. Absolutely nothing special about them. No attempt to lift them to something special. The mushroom sauce had no mushrooms and the entree of meatballs were dry and again no attempt to lift them. My partner had a steak which was ok and I had the linguine with lobster which was nice. I could have gone to a local pub and had a similar type of meal. The cost was fine dining but the food was not. I hate to give a negative review for a new business but if you’re going to charge those prices you need to lift your game.

Black Hide at Queens Wharf continues to be my preferred restaurant. The staff are long term and provide consistent service at the highest level. We ordered the recommended Sirloin and it was everything we were promised. This restaurant is a must for any person visiting Queens Wharf or for that matter Brisbane.

The staff were exceptional, very friendly and understood the menu. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Food was excellent and meals not rushed with a good time between courses. Wine list varied but not cheap

It was great celebrating a special occasion at Black Hide as everyone enjoyed their meal including the kids. The steak are cooked well and the staff are great. Although it's on the pricier side as the meats did not come with sides. Will still recommend this place for those who wants to have a good food and great service.

We all enjoyed our night for a birthday celebration. We all choose a different steak which was good quality and perfectly cooked. I would happily recommend going there for a special occasion. The view looking onto Brisbane River is spectacular.
