I was blown away by the food at Bistro Roca. Amazing appetizers, entrees and cocktails along with great customer service. My wife got the Trout and I had the Black & Bleu steak. One of the best steaks I ever had in my life! If you are visiting Blowing Rock this place is a MUST.

Four of us dined at Bistro Roca and Antlers Bar. We had figs wrapped in prosciutto as a shared appetizer and should have ordered more. They were delicious. Two of us had the Mountain Trout and two of us had the Black and Bleu. Both courses were excellent and the steak was wonderfully tender. Our server was attentive and humorous. My only observation is that parking is quite cramped so allow some additional time for that but overall a five star experience.

I have eaten here multiple times but this time the food was different and disappointing. We ordered the margarita pizza and it was loaded with pesto. The crust was soggy. It just seemed that the chef tried too hard to be fancy but simpler would have been better!
