   Food was very good. Service from the waitress was very good, but the kitchen was slow — it took a long time even for our appetizer, which was hummus needing no cooking. The wait for our entrees was even longer. Wasn’t even crowded. Fortunately, the setting was lovely.

   Run down facilities. Very over run w children. Website offers the dining as upscale… it’s not. Bartender mixes horrible drinks, even the house specialties. Mens room was filthy. Waiter was rude. Service was SLOW. Asked for water and was told bruskly that we would get our water w our drinks. We had already waited 20 minute for our bar order and that’s why we wanted water. Over al bad experience. Others around us seemed to having similar experiences.

   Overall a great experience. My only complaint was the hostess told me when I walked up to tell her that I had a reservation, that there was a glitch and they typically don't take reservations for just 2 people, but that they would honor it, but just that I should be aware in case I want to book again. Who does that? Why did I need to know that? Rubbed me the wrong way right off the bat. Our actual server was phenomenal thou and the food outstanding. It was a beautiful evening to be outside and a great way to start our anniversary weekend.

   Mackinac Disappointment! On arrival I gave name and reservation time . We were told “our computer is down , would you mind sitting at the bar?”. I proceeded to show her our confirmation. She looked at it and then had us show it to the “Mgr” Very unfriendly as she showed us to one of many open tables after we declined a bar seat Server was obviously pushing the $30 seafood stew appetizer that they were lacking an ingredient in. The whitefish sandwich was on dry bread and tasted like Captain D’s freezer section. The Titos and tonic was minus the Titos . On a positive note the view is great but then it is everywhere in Mackinac island. Don’t waist your money at the “Bistro “

   Jonathan, our server, was fantastic! He made sure that my family felt really comfortable during our dinner there. The food was impeccable. Three hours after dinner, we were still marveling at the tastes and flavours we experienced. The vegetable curry, mussels marinières, fisherman’s stew, truffle fries, med salad, and white grilled fish were all winners. We are so happy with our experience. Thank you!

   We made our reservation at Bistro on the Greens and I even received a reminder about the reservation but when we got there it was not open for the season yet. Mission Point seemed to have several issues with having things open or closed and staff that didn’t know what was open or closed. We ended up walking all over the property trying to figure out what what going on.

   Service was great! Exceptionally delicious Bloody Mary. Watermelon salad was good; steak was good but not amazing. I’m a gazpacho lover but this one wasn’t my favorite— also, should be ice cold! Beautiful place to dine; will certainly return again.

   They did great with our kids table, allowing us some peace; food and setting were outstanding!

    Perfect place for a special dinner on the island! But really - great for a casual lunch or dinner as well!
