Birdman is an intimate, no-fuss, no-frills, 35-seat Japanese Yakitori Pub from the team behind Vezené, a local favorite Greek inspired bistro.

Our open kitchen-counter specializes in neck-to-tail yakitori, a daily selection of wagyu nigiri, and dry-aged yakiniku-style meats, prepared in front of the customer on a robata-style grill. We also prepare kushiyaki from lamb, game, root vegetables and in-season mushrooms foraged from various regions of Greece. Our Donburi, Udon and Katsu-style sandwiches change weekly and can be found under the title “Fillers” on the menu.

On our bar direction we believe that everything we taste should be as good as the music we listen to and the people we choose to be our friends. We are all in for natural wine, craft microbreweries, and clear-ice cocktails. We also showcase an extended selection of Japanese whisky, as well as small batch new world distilleries found in Taiwan, India and America.

                                  The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The portion were small but if you order a few dishes you will be full for sure. The only issue was the service.. we were brought the wrong dish and when I tried to explain that this was not what we ordered the staff showed little interest in resolving the issue or even listening to the complaint.

                                  It would have been nice of them service staff to let us know the kitchen closes at 23:00 and not later, especially since our booking was for 22:00. Other than that the food and drinks tasty as always.

                                  I spent Slightly less than a month in Greece this time, of which 10 days were in Athens and this was my 7th visit. If this is not a convincing review, i do not know what is, considering food in Greece can come cheaply and is usually very tasty.

                                  Food is always good there, however there is a clear difference depending on who is running the show. A gaze over the bar counter demonstrates just how focused and dedicated some staff are. If you are in a radius of even kilometers you should ABSOLUTELY visit this place. The menu feels designed to escort drinks so leave your car/bike home and enjoy that amazing experience

                                  Great taste but definitely not a value for money. Extremely small portions and high prices. We tried the beef nigiri selection which did not worth its high price. The outside dining area needs more attention (tables, chairs, lighting etc.)
