Best Thai restaurant in Cairo. Go for the Tom Ka soup, satay appetizer, shrimp in red curry coconut pineapple.

Service was great, waiters are extremely professional and friendly. Food was tasty and flavorful. Ambience was nice and quite. Overall great value for money too.

Food was very mediocre if you know authentic Thai food but given that it’s Egypt and if you are tired of Egyptian food I guess it’s a good alternative. All meats were extremely dry. Service initially was good and then it became hard to find anyone for a while. When we did talk to anyone they were all nice. The ambiance to this place is great though.

We ate here on our visit to Cairo. We’re from NY and are picky eaters! My red curry shrimp with pineapple was delicious. My teens ate but didn’t love their fried rice; one thought it was too spicy. Ambiance was great, staff was super courteous and attentive.

Loved our meal at Birdcage. The food was delicious, as was the wine. Excellent Thai food, and the service very good, too.

We had a delightful lunch - their idea of a Thai bento box is perfect. A nice selection, including vegetarian options; all very delicious!
