   Great meal! Started with grilled avocado with ponzu sauce and kelp -- delicious! Peas and beans with bacon crumble was an excellent complement to the Sable Fish. All I can say is yum! OMG the Strawberry Semi Fredo w uzu, vanilla bean ice cream and milk crumb! Oh yeah! Som Brent helped pick a great accompaniment Russian River Chardonnay. Perfect dinner! Thanks Bird Dog.

   Everything was good but the overall experience was just "a little too much" and "trying too hard." Taking out one ingredient from each custom cocktail, not over-articulating the foods, paying more attention to textures of foods. And a bit pricey.

   Food was inventive but tiny portions. Very limited menu so you are stuck if nothing appeals to you. Extremely expensive wine selection. Noisy. So if you want to be in the next hip place and don't mind the fare, check it out. Not a place I would go back to.

   Bird Dog is a beautiful space to dine and I was anticipating a beautiful meal - both visually and from the gustatory perspective. Unfortunately the taste experience did not meet my expectations. It all started with a martini (I ordered just a plain martini) that included some sort of sweet substance. I returned it and re-request "just a martini" which I received the second time around. The next odd taste sensation was the chicken thigh. Although not unpleasant the addition of cinnamon in the crust was strange. Finally, my dinner partner had the wagu beef. The coffee ground adornment on the plate was also sweetened. The unnecessary addition and inclusion of sweet with what, in my mind, should be savory and delicious ruined the experience. It's a beautiful space and the food looks good, it just didn't taste as good as it looked.

    Went here with my better half for an anniversary. I was not disappointed. Great experience, great food and wonderful spot.
