   Birch's is ALWAYS outstanding! The food is great and the service is terrific. In addition, the view of the lake is mesmerizing.

   The experience and food here was lovely, but it wasn't worth even half of the $90/person we paid for the experience. Loved the shrimp and the deviled eggs. The beef was excellent. We were the last to leave, so they sent us home with free cupcakes. I'm sorry to say that we won't be back. We can't afford to pay triple of what we were paying six years ago.

   Typically when we eat at Birch's the food, ambience, cost and noise level is very good. On Easter it was very chaotic and we will never return on a holiday brunch again. Also, the cost was exorbitant.

   We've been here many times and always enjoyed the food, service, and ambience. But a recent visit left us perplexed, disgusted, and disappointed. So much, in fact, I'm not sure we'll return. It was Saturday and we had a lunch reservation for seven people at 1:00 pm. Our table was ready and the pleasant server promptly brought us drinks and took our order. A short while later my plate, and only my plate, of Chicken and Waffles was delivered. I waited politely for almost 10 minutes, with my food getting cold, for the rest of my party's meals to arrive. It was then when a different server came by and snatched my plate away and said bluntly, "That's not yours" before depositing my plate of now-cold food on an adjacent table in front of a different diner unrelated to my party. It was disgusting to see them "re-serve" food that that had been on the table in front of me for 10 minutes. That must be violation of health codes, right?Fortunately, I had not tasted it or added any condiments. If I were the other diner I would have refused it and demanded a replacement, but I don't think they noticed what had happened. Eventually we all got our meals (hopefully not re-served from elsewhere.) But not without the servers waving full plates around over our heads while asking "who ordered this, who ordered that.) Surely you can keep track of who ordered what for party of seven. C'mon Birch's, I know your better than this. Might be time to revisit your server training program.

   The server was not good at all. Drinks were slow to come. Clearing the table slow. Food slow. Never checked to see if everything was okay. We were constantly looking for her. Yet they add 20% gratuity for parties of 8 or more then she sets my bill down with the tip wide open to add another tip, not mentioning that I already tipped you.

   Was very loud for a Tuesday early dinner. Could not hear conversation at our table at 5pm. Needed to ask for appetizer plates and silverware. Served without and staff confused that we needed some. Food was very mediocre for the price.Apps and dessert good entrees were definitely not. Ambience good food is not

   We were celebrating 2 birthdays today and had a fun time time at Birches! Our server was great as was our food. Highly recommend.

    The Carmel roll was dry and tough to chew. My huevos rancheros arrived cold and our server was semi-friendly. I’ll go back but next time I’ll speak up if it’s below average again.
