Great lunch for a catch up with friends. We all had the set menu which was a bargain. Food great although friends said the crumble was a little soggy. Very busy but our waitress was attentive and we didn’t find ourselves waiting for anything. Only niggles would be there is no accessible toilet (you have to go to the pub next door) and the pay at your table QR code didn’t work (we were using the wrong one and the right one had fallen off).

The menu was as good and as varied as ever, they had a Pancake specials, which we would have loved to try but sadly we did not have the time. I had the chicken schnitzel which was also a special and my wife had the duck curry, the food was excellent. The Bill’s lager was very refreshing.
