   As always the food was excellent with generous portions. We were a large group and had a room to ourselves and our waiter was really good and very friendly. He recommended the House Red and it was definitely a wine I would drink again. Thank you.

   Terrible - arrived at 6.10pm . No food til 7.10pm. We had theatre starting at 7.30 ! Which they knew. Waitress shouted at me when I asked were our food was ! Manager called. He acknowledged it was so bad our entire meal was complimentary . Right customer service approach but we’ll never return to a Bills . The chain has gone downhill since buyout.

   The food was half decent but the service was shockingly slow, forgot the wine, had to ask two or three times for water and the bill. Not just us complaining when we left!

   Rushed service as they where short staffed. Took dessert order but failed to process and did not come to the table for over 30 mins. We had to go and find waiter to chase, and then still presented a bill with a service charge and no apology. Needless to say we did not pay the full bill. Real shame as everything else was really good.

   A lovely old building. Great, attentive staff. Great location. Good choice of veggie food. The veggie platter is delicious.
