   Nice place for dinner in the Keys. Our waiter Kyle was prompt. Food was good — mahi mahi was a little tough.

   We arrived for a reservation and were informed they don’t take reservations nor use open table. They did have space for us and we were seated. Then we waited 20 minutes without any water or any greeting from a server. Finally we got up and left. other guests said they had waited “an eternity” for their food. what a disaster!

   The fish dip was delish, the spice on the seafood was too warm for me, took my breath. However, there were plenty of options to choose from!

   Seafood pasta was tasty but loads of pasta and thin sauce and not that much seafood. Garlic bread was soggy.

   Good American food. Nothing spectacular but solid 4 out of 5. Ribs were very good as was lobster sandwich. Good value. Service quick and efficient

   After being seated, waited 45 minutes to get drinks and appetizers. Frickles were not good, conch fritters wee okay. After hour and a half after seating, we received our food. Shrimp basket and seafood platter were so greasy it was not enjoyable. Cole slaw was warm, rice pilaf was cold, and that was the case around the table of seven. We used to eat here every visit to the Keys but we will not be back again.

   We are officially Big Pine Rooster fans. When we first saw how extensive the menu was, I was a little concerned about great it would be with everything on the menu. Boy were we wrong, from the Lobster Mac, Cuban Sandwich, Thai Chili Shrimp and even a steak, everything was fantastic! We spend a week in the Keys every year, we’ll be back for sure!

    The service was quick and friendly. My husband loved the Rooster Cuban sandwich. I had the lobster hoagie. The lobster was good but the hoagie is the wrong bread. It was too thick and the lobster just fell out of it.
