   Bit pricey for what we had. Slightly disappointed with our fillet steaks. Expected more for the price.

   8.30pm booking and felt very rushed - kitchen closed at 9pm apparently! All very odd, on what was quite a quiet evening.

   Went for the first time with my husband and had the sharing platter for 2, you finish cooking it over hot coals so it's a fun experience. The meat was very tasty and good quality and there is loads! Do not get a starter as it's so much food. However the chips as a side (which are £7 if bought separately) you literally get a handful to share between 2. It's definitely a meat fest, Service was ok, friendly but they looked stressed and you could tell the lack of experience Good choices of wine too. But it's very expensive, is it worth it....I'm not sure but it was a nice treat!

   The best steak i've had in this country. Great service and the meat box was incredible. Highly recommend it. much better than miller and carter.

   The vibe of the restaurant was amazing!!! Unfortunately just by walking in, you could tell they have tried to overcrowd the restaurant. You can barely move around the tables to get to the toilet and back. When we arrived at 7.30 which was when our table was booked for, it wasn't quite ready (people still sitting there) so they showed us to the bar. Luckily they had one bar table left. We had our drinks there and managed to look at the menus. It got to 8pm. Half an hour after we arrived, I suggested to our table that we should order our food now. 8.15, we finally sat at our table. Unfortunately we didn't get our food until 9.10pm. Very late to eat 4 lots of different steaks. We did order olives to keep us going but the second bowl didn't arrive ( we had a bowl when we arrived). The only thing is, I get a new restaurant that is popular can have slow service. However the embarrassing thing was. 2 tables right next to us arrived around 8.50pm and got their food 20/30 minutes later. Before us! That's not good! To rectify the situation. Our 1st round of drinks was on the house. The service was so friendly and apologetic, when we said something. And the food tasted amazing. Hopefully when it's been open a while the speed of service will improve. As we would like to try again.

   Outstanding food, service and live music. My wife and I had some Empanadas to start which were delicious followed by the platter which was out of this world. The kids shared a chicken sniffle and chips which they loved. Fantastic experience

   The quality of the meat was outstanding. We went with the meat box for two, which we thoroughly enjoyed. At we were told 900g of meat, we could see why people were leaving with tin foil parcels! We were pleased that we had chosen to skip the starters… Potato fries were crunchy and the tomato salad with shallots was sharp and fresh. Wine selection was good - mainly Argentinian Malbecs, as you might imagine.

    Open for just a week, Bife is a very welcome arrival to Haywards Heath. The menu is heavily orientated to steaks - as you might expect! The quality is excellent. We ordered the £89 tasting menu for 2, which had 3 different steaks, 2 chorizo sausages along with 2 sides. It was enormous - so much so that we had to take some home with us. As a new restaurant there are a couple of teething problems - the staff are very friendly, but not yet quite up to speed. The furniture has been carried over from the previous occupier and feels really outdated, leaving the ambiance feeling a little flat - they will need to address both.. If you can see through these then you'll have a very enjoyable time.
