   Went for a work happy hour, great little spot and somewhat hidden away so it wasn’t overrun with people.

   As other reviewers have said the food was just so-so and the beer wall only had about half the taps available. When we arrived at 7 we were the only people in there and continued to be for most our meal. We had to go through the hotel to find it and it just seemed kind of tucked away. The beer list was just ok and a lot of the taps were empty. The server was nice and responsive.

   Awful. No servers on New Year's Eve. Can't understand why they "didn't know" about the reservations they had. One bartender had the entire place and it was her first week or so. Worst food, especially the Mac n cheese. Over herbed and just smothered in unmelted Parmesan. No flavor in the sliders and the flatbread margherita was purely sauce and a dot of cheese. Terrible experience. Not worth my money or time. Nativ really went downhill in recent years.

   We had reservations for Christmas Eve Dinner, received confirmation of our reservation. The restaurant was closed! There was a sign on the door indicating they were closed. We looked on line and were not the only people that had reservations. Not sure if it was an Open Table issue or a restaurant issue. Other restaurants I looked at did not have any openings and when we walked past them they were closed. I believe it was a restaurant fail.

   So this place isn’t a restaurant.. I thought it was a fun atmosphere and the bartender was absolutely amazing! We made dinner reservations according to the profile that Open Table shows for the restaurant which is out of date and completely incorrect! The bartender tried to make the occasion fun and gave us a discount because we traveled so far to get there expecting Elk and Trout almondine on the menu.. and found nachos and sliders. They do have an interesting concept for their local micro brews and I highly recommend trying! They are tucked behind NATIV stop in and try!!

   This was a disappointing visit. I was excited about the idea of being able to pour your own beers and sample different varieties. Beers are charged by the ounce so you can sample small tastes or pour full pints. On this visit, at least 5 options were tapped out. I really enjoy porters so I poured a full pint only to find that is was warm and flat. I told the waiter about this, but he said he checked the keg and it was fine. So I was charged for a beer I couldn't drink. I ordered wings and they were decent, but not something I would make a special trip for. I had a garden salad as well, but that was also disappointing as the lemon vinaigrette dressing just tasted like vegetable oil. There are too many great beer places in downtown Denver to waste time and money here, especially when they don't stand behind their product.
