   We were all very impressed with Beyond the Sun, especially after not hearing of it before. There were 7 family members enjoying Easter together for lunch. We tried the Ferris wheel appetizer served in small baskets on a wheel that you could spin. Everything was fried: calamari, cheese, pickles, etc…& two different sauces with it. I had the caprese salad which was very big & filling & delicious, my husband had a huge burger that was good too…everyone had lots of food & enjoyed everything we ordered…Patricia was our wonderful waitress & did a fantastic job. We will definitely go back again!

   The ambiance, service and drinks were great! The food…..not so much. The crab cakes were very fishy and tasted like they were bought months ago at a local grocery store, pre-made. Caesar salad dressing tasted odd. It wasn’t Caesar dressing, it almost tasted like an unseasoned ranch. The fried chicken was dry and tough, like they just refried it from the day before. The Greek salad, roasted chicken and the chicken sandwich were all good.

   The restaurant is beautiful and such a vibe but the entertainment did not fit the customer demographics. Maybe a jazz or violinist would be better fit. a folk guitarist on a Saturday with that style restaurant and food did not fit. I felt bad for the musician bc we were better off him not playing

   Great place but disappointed that people were smoking marijuana. The smell was not pleasant.

   We were greeted by a hostess that was very friendly but right away. I noticed the seating was a little too close for me so she accommodated us by allowing us to go upstairs and find better seating. We ordered drinks and food right away. Our drinks came out very pretty and tasted great however, 45 minutes later the waitress came to let us know that the party of 10 was taking priority and it was going to be a while longer, and if we would want to order drinks. I honestly wasn’t looking to just get wasted that night so we turned down her suggestion. I felt like they were putting their inability to plan for the night on us as the customer I felt like she should’ve offered us a plate of appetizers and an apology. However, their food eventually came, but unfortunately, it was only one of our entrées that was extremely over dried out chicken and a plate of pasta that was not edible. I was looking for a fine dining experience and I’ve never in my life been served entrée separately. This place just kept making mistake after mistake: I’ve been served better food in a cafeteria. We asked for our check for the drinks and left. Thank goodness O’Shea’s is across the street and they saved all night.

   The food was good but I feel like it was way overpriced. For the money the portion size should be bigger, but they are small. I wish them luck but I won’t be going back there again.

   Waited so long on our food , the veggie option was awful, couple of friends meals were already cold when they came…very disappointing
