   Nothing really stood out. Second time here and did not enjoy anything. Had the 1/2 baby backs expecting it to fall off the bone but it was super dry.

   Too noisy to carry on a conversation, the place needs some sound dampening materials.

   Not the best BBQ that I've eaten, but it was fine. Convenient location, lots of parking. While we made a reservation and were seated right away, it took 15 minutes for someone to take our order and another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. When we were first seated, there were maybe 5 other tables. At one point, of of the servers apologized for the delay and said they were a little short handed, but no manager ever came over to apologize and no one offered us any concession of any kind for our wait. I do not expect to ever return to this place. Better BBQ and much better service is to be found not that far away.

   The staff and servers are friendly and professional. Our service wast fast and friendly. The ribs macaroni and cheese and sweet potato tots were fabulous!!! We ordered a couple drinks in the bar and they were delicious A must try

   Big menu, nothing fancy and what we expected. Balances good quality, quantity with safe, clean environment. Worth a visit.

   We've been to the place three times now for dinner. Unlike other reviewers we have had freiendly and attentive service. The meat has a nice smoke flavor, and the seeing burnt ends on the menu was a treat. Definitely worth a visit.

   This was our second visit to the Best Little Porkhouse. While the food was still very good, our server was not that great. The restaurant was not busy yet and there were a lot of servers/workers standing around talking. Yet, having someone check in for drink refills, etc was not happening. At the premium prices, we expected better service. Our first visit entailed great service by Keira (spelling may not be accurate) - if you do go, ask for her. The experience varies quite a bit by server. In terms of food, it's good barbecue and would recommend the Beauregard platter as it's a good sampler of all the offerings.

    My husband and I had lunch here on 12/31. I'm not sure when the restaurant opened, but it still seems to be working out a functional flow for seating, greeting and serving customers. After being seated, we were met with an initial waitress who provided our food menus and when asked about wine options, said she would bring a drink menu and never returned. After an extensive wait - at least 15 or 20 mins (I had started looking around to see if all the waiters had left...) we finally were approached by the new waitress who took our orders. The food took an extraordinarily long time to come out - a slider sampler for me, brisket and chicken for my husband. Considering this is a BBQ place, you'd think that the bulk of the cooking had been completed and getting the food from the kitchen to the table shouldn't take 20+ mins. I think the restaurant has potential - in a Texas nostalgia sort of way - but they'll need to work out the service levels to keep the Alameda crowd happy. The food was just OK, so the draw would be the atmosphere and the service...
