   Very good, as always. Our waitress had an aloof presence, although at the end she sent us a complimentary birthday dessert. Everyone else were warm & wore big smiles, including the hostess, manager and the assistant who maybe a bus person and got us the extra plates (our waitress said yes then disappeared for a long while so we had to ask the assistant), grated the cheese, offered the dessert menu ...etc. always friendly with a warm hearty smile... 10 STARS for everyone except our waitress who's earned just a 3.5 stars from us.

   Neighborhood Gem: Located across from the Walnut Creek Library, Benvenuti feels like a hidden gem, and after at least a dozen lovely meals there, I consider it a "go to" for both spontaneous and special meals. The small bite Gnocchi melts in your mouth, garlic bread is hot and cheesy, lighter fare is available and the Caeser Salad is perfect with just the right blend of flavors. If you like seafood, try the Sole -- moist, tender and yummy. My husband enjoys their Veal dishes. There is a full bar and the dessert menu includes a light, fluffy lemon cake -- not to be missed.

   Benvenuti is a restaurant I choose again and again. The people are warm, the service is great, and the food is very good--very consistent. They have my favorite drink anywhere--Sal's Limonata--always a treat. We have subscription theatre tickets at the Lesher Center in Walnut Creek and we always go to Benvenuti before theatre. I often order the sole, which is made very well, with vegetables and a pasta underneath. Benvenuti also has a great happy hour with wonderful appetizers and small plates you can order during the week. I definitely recommend it.

   This restaurant is spectacular! My sister introduced my husband and me to it years ago when it was in San Francisco. Angela has since moved it to Walnut Creek, and though we had not been there since that move, we have now been back four times and loved it each and every time! Everything is spot on, and delicious. Angela makes all of the desserts herself, and her chef is terrific. The wait staff, bussers and everyone and everything else is perfect. We will be back as many times as we can over the next several years. We were there on Saturday, 7/6/19, and already are wishing we could go back again. Lovely place for romantic dinners, family dinners, group dinner and the bar is fine, too. Great cocktails. Robert DeSantis & Lon Vasquez

   we had reservations for four seniors. The table was ready upon arrival but when we were seated it was very noisy. The waiter and staff were kind enough to put together two small table outside for us where we enjoyed wonder food drink and conversation. The waiter had been there only one week but was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very good evening.

   Returned to this place for the first time since it was closed and renovated. The new vibe is much more modern and suited to downtown Walnut Creek. The greeting was wonderful and we felt right at home. Our server was there previously and she was just perfect in her manner and level of service. My wife's cocktail was not to her liking and it was whisked away and replaced with one that was just right. The portions are large, very well presented and served really hot........something I wish other restaurants would do. We had to share the Tiramisu for dessert and it was homemade and plenty for three people. Prices are good and they only charge $15 for wine corkage.....must be the lowest in Walnut Creek! We all took home food for lunch the following day and we will be back soon.

   Great open setting. The wait staff was super attentive and our waiter took his time to answer our questions about some of the dishes. The food was fresh and delicious, great portion. Will be our go to Italian restaurant

   Very friendly place. We loved the food and the service was great especially friendly was our waiter Josephine. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try authentic Italian cuisine with Sicilian influence.
