   Had the afternoon tea with prosecco. Serving was ample enough for myself. Decent pot of tea, proper food and pleasant staff. I was solo that day and would recommend afternoon tea there for anyone. Very budget friendly. Quality was exceeding value. Will go back again.

   Having a reservation really didn't help; we still had to wait for quite a bit of time. The serving staff were in chaos. We promptly received our menus however, we had to eventually flag down anyone to get our order taken after again waiting quite a long time. (It's not like there was much to choose from i.e. we were still ordering from the breakfast menu). We only ordered tea/scones/cake slice as we could see that getting a full on breakfast would take to long and our time was now limited by the above mentioned delays and we asked for our bill at the same time. The bill did arrive as we were finishing our tea. Overall you were understaffed or those staff who were working were compensating for the those who were at the cash looking at their phones, gabbing with each other (we sat right by the cash) and so the with the flurry of staff rushing back and forth we couldn't in all honesty recommend coming back. It's a shame the experience could have been so much more.

   Good to be back at The Cellarium: as always, interesting choices well presented and reasonably priced. And good service!

   We went to the cafe for breakfast on Sunday morning at 10:30. The cafe was empty, except for a handful of other people. We were seated then told the cafe does not serve a full english breakfast on Sundays! I'm sorry, but if there is one day of the week this should be served it is a Sunday. We were however told we could order bacon, egg, or sausage sandwiches, so why these items couldn't be put on a plate together confuses me. We carried on and ordered three bacon sandwiches (One with an egg on), three orange juices and two latte's - The bill came and it was £39.50 !!! Needless to say, although the surroundings are beautiful, I would not go back.

   Having booked a table for 7 people 4 weeks in advance I was very disappointed to discover our table had been given to another party. We were taken upstairs and the waiter ho showed us upstairs initially tried to put us at several small round tables which wasn't acceptable to us. The waiter in charge of the area had to ask a smaller party if they would move to another table. Considering I'd booked well in advance I was very unhappy especially as it was to celebrate a 65th birthday. Once we were seated the afternoon tea was brought out and was excellent. There was plenty to eat and at a good price. The upstairs wasn't as impressive to look at as the downstairs area but was light and airy. It's a pity the venue was so let down by the lack of organisation for pre-booked tables.

   Not our first visit so knew what to expect. Staff were friendly and helpful, as always. Not a huge choice from the menu (we selected the 2x£17) but really well prepared and very tasty.

   I wanted to take my mother to have traditional afternoon tea while she was in London. This was the perfect place. Visit Westminster Abbey, take a break for lunch, and then continue your visit through the Abbey. Makes the day last a little longer. And the afternoon tea was perfect. Sandwiches, scones, and a variety of sweets...we also added a glass of prosecco to celebrate. Do make reservations, though. Nice to walk past people waiting for a table. :)

   We enjoyed our afternoon tea, ambience was pleasant. The quality of the sandwiches, good. The cakes were nice but the Victoria Sponge wasn't amazing. More like a muffin. Pleasant venue but I wouldn't rush back.

   We enjoyed afternoon tea with prosecco, the food was delicious, good quality and served promptly. We used the groupon offer which made it good value for money. They close promptly at 5pm, so bear this in mind when you make your booking if you think you may linger. The café is in a beautiful old setting, but has a modern feel, and was clean and tidy.

    Great location tucked away within the heart of Westminster. Brilliant food with glimpsing views of the surrounding Westminster area. Ask for a terrace seat if you can... but be quick only a enough room for a couple of tables.
