   A delightful after-theater experience benefitting from both the Alacarte and Prix Fixe menus offering excellent choice and quality. Attentive service and wonderful ambiance, combined with the food and drink made for a memorable evening.

   The food and service was excellent even though we had a rather late reservation .Excellent Chablis , escargots, onion soup , filet mignon and Dover sole.A friend of the family who is doing her specialty in medicine in NY and arrived late, loved the place and the food too!

   Superb cuisine served in a beautiful atmosphere by skilled and very professional waiters. And an excellent selection of wines by the glass, too. It is a slice of Paris right here in NYC.

   What a lovely find. Our friends love this place, it was our first time. The restaurant was beautiful, service wonderful, a lovely young lady from Paris was our server. Bussers, runners, host, manager, everything was top notch. Their pre theater menu was a great selection, as it there regualr menu. We will be back for sure.

   The dinner for four people was excellent. Each dish was delicious. Excellent and attentive service. Great ambience. A little noisy for us but we could talk and hear one another. Great spot!

   You do not come to Benoit for fusion food that screams Instagram. You come for expertly prepared brasserie/bistrot fare, superbly presented, & exquisite service. Special mention should be added for the over the top excellent wine list, and the great knowledge of the sommelier and host, whose name I should remember. All selections by bottle or glass were outstanding. In fact, if you are interested in wine, this is a great great restaurant. I have never done so, but could imagine coming and sitting at the bar for a small meal and several excellent wines by the glass. My only small complaint is that the new chairs are very uncomfortable! Thankfully, the tables are well spaced and there are many (comfortable) banquettes.

   Service was professional and attentive. Great selection of wines by the glass. Excellent French onion soup. Escargots were spot on but could have had more herb and butter sauce.Quenelles with a Nantua sauce were so tasty. We ended with a dessert of pistachio mousse with raspberry sorbet on the side. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

    Outstanding food, service, and ambience. Lobster spaghetti was unique and delicious. Margo was attentive. A bit pricey but worth it.
