   While vacationing in Taos, New Mexico, my husband and I chose Bella's Mexican Restaurant for dinner. There is a lovely patio, but unfortunately a rain storm drove us inside. We each chose a glass of Tempranillo wine and shared the Beef Fajitas which were excellent! Our server was new so a manager stepped in and helped. We liked the extra attention.

   Delicious ! shrimp fajitas (8 huge shrimp!) complete with all the trimmings. I had the “Elote salad” with grilled chicken breast. Outside patio dining today in 70 degree weather ! Highly recommend Bella’s 😃

   Service was terrible - waited an hour for appetizer (which was a corn cob) and then another 20 minutes for entrees. When we calmly asked when our entrees would be out, the server was really rude and said it was taking longer because we ordered an appetizer. Food was good but definitely not worth the wait, which was made even worse by the server’s attitude. They also ran out of all types of white and rose wine except for boxed wine. There are better places to go in Taos like Love Apple or Taos Inn

   We arrived and were greeted by several people who were friendly and very helpful. Every request was honored. We were very pleased with the service and the food was excellent. It was a great experience.

   Entrees are tasty with plenty of chili spice. Definitely homemade style with the dishes (including bones). Service was friendly, but frenetic since staff had to cover a great deal of ground due to distances between the kitchen, bar and table areas. Unfortunately, the drinks are not as strong as the food flavors.

   Not even sure where to start... It seemed ok when we walked in. The staff was nice but it went downhill from there. Two of us were brought our meals and no one said anything about where the other two meals were. Staff kept walking by....we waited. We finally asked and the waiter was extremely rude and uncaring with his response. The other two meals finally showed up at least 15 minutes later, again no explanation. Apparently one of the meals was given to another table, no idea why the other meal was also late. Suggestion-if there’s some kind of issue just let your guests know. It’s pretty easy. Sometimes they’ll be frustrated, sometimes, I’d bet most times, they’d understand. But to not say a word.... It was obvious we were frustrated, since 2 meals were late and then 2 meals were cold, since we waited for the other 2. We ended up with a discount and a last minute apology because it became obvious that we were frustrated. Oh, and the food was just ok. A cold meal is a bummer and we never got our 100 points on our account.

   almost two hours into dinner with three young children and an early reservation and no meals were delivered. when asked the waiter when he thought the food would be ready, he said another hour. we ended up paying for what we had consumed (chips and drinks) and left hungry with fussy kids.

    I've eaten here three times over the past year. The big draw, for me, is the Elote. This roasted corn appetizer is simply amazing. They also have a nice, upscale, southwest food menu. Not your average fair I also appreciate the quite, elegant atmosphere. I'll be back next time I'm in Santa Fe
