   Prices are a bit high for the “shareable” portions but everything tastes good. Service could have been a little faster given the restaurant wasn’t crowded but wasn’t bad by any means

   We enjoyed our visit at Beauty & Essex, but unfortunately not enough to go again. The place itself was beautiful and we loved the vibe. Music was awesome and our server was very friendly and knew the menu well. However, our food was nothing to rave about. We ordered the poke tacos which were tasty. The mushroom ravioli was bland and had so much cheese that I could barely taste the flavor of the mushrooms. The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection but really lacked flavor. For dessert we ordered the s’mores selection and it was nothing more than chocolate ice cream with a few marshmallows on top and a broken graham cracker shoved into the ice cream. I think for a $300 bill we were just expecting the food to be much better.

   The hostesses were very accommodating. The wait staff was very good. The atmosphere is very cool. The drinks and food were very disappointing. We had two cocktails that were more juice than alcohol. The shrimp cocktail had something like Old Bay sprinkled on it. It took away from the sweet shrimp flavor. The red snapper tacos lacked red snapper but it had a lot of other stuff. Ate only two out of the four served. The salmon was the main course. The salmon was dry. The black rice was surprisingly good. I know it is a new restaurant but zero out 4 - not good. I will give them one more visit in a month or so.

   Outstanding meal! Food was amazing, can’t pick a favorite because it was all insanely good. Service was pretty good, absent at times but good enough and with food like that… who cares!

   Enjoyed the restaurant. A unique vibe, food was delicious and loved that everything was shareable so you can experience different foods. Our waiter Austin, was fabulous, knowledgeable about the food, ingredients and how it will be prepared. Will be back!

   We had such a wonderful experience at Beauty and Essex. We were there celebrating a birthday and they made the whole night feel very special. Our server was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great food recommendations which we took her up on. The chicken meatball and bone-in ribeye were to die for! I loved the vibe of the restaurant, you definitely feel like you are in an upscale speak easy from the 1920’s. I can’t wait to go back!

   Phenomenal experience! Compliments to the Chef! We were well taken care of as our reservation was moved up. Hospitality was excellent and the food was exquisite. Our second visit. Will keep returning. Thanks so much! Highly recommend!

    The best meal we've ever had! The ribeye steak was tender and well seasoned and the fluffernutter pot de creme was the perfect ending to our night!
