   Baywood was our "go to" when we wanted a great meal. I'm not sure what has changed but hasn't been for the better. The last time we were there the service was substandard and the food was no where near as good as it was in the past. Very disappointed and now we have to find a new place to love.

   Having been dining at this restaurant for years... and have seen many changes. One thing for sure the menu has always been creative and new with well-prepared and tasty offerings. The biggest change in recent years is the attention to detail by service staff; this appears to have become more casual and relaxed - sometimes server is not always available.

   We went with friends on Sunday, Dec. 18, and had a wonderful dinner. The dinner side of the restaurant was closed so we were seated in the bar side which was pretty empty but the staff was upbeat and a lot of fun. Had the smaller appetite 6 oz steak and frits (substituted cauliflower mash) and it was outstanding. My friend who is allergic to onions and garlic had hers prepared to order and loved it. The guys had hamburgers done just the way they like them. All in all is was a terrific evening and the cook that evening was excellent. From start to finish we felt the staff were in a holiday mood and they gave us a thoroughly enjoyable evening that we hope to enjoy again soon.

   Very nice time. The brunch food was average but atmosphere was festive and service was very good! A nice place to go with family over the holidays and not too busy and crowded!

   The restaurant was fairly empty which made it quiet. The fodd was not as good as we've come to expect from Baywood. It may have been an off night.

   Our waiter from wonderful - Jonathan. He was attentive to us without being intrusive. We all enjoyed our food and one person at our table ordered the seafood special and I think the three of us who ordered other items were pleased with our orders but might have been a bit sorry they had ordered the seafood special.

   Three friends and I had a wonderful dinner and evening dining at Baywood. The music of saxophonist Everett was amazing and we had great service from our waiter Dave. Couldn't have been a more lovely evening. And as always, the fall decorations were incredible.

   This restaurant was a nice surprise for us. The staff are all extremely friendly and the service is excellent. We were kept waiting a few times for first courses and then for entrees but the server always checked back, apologized for the delay and explained the wait (took longer to cook the thick cut filet). The food was very good from an heirloom beet salad to cream of crab soup to a (perfectly cooked) filet and an exceptional quail special. Great wine list and great desserts.

    I went with my wife for my birthday and I had the salmon which was tasty and cooked perfectly. My wife enjoyed her meal too. Our waiter was very nice and informative. We had the whole dining room to ourselves.
