   Hostess and chef were the best part of our experience. Third member of our party was late so we asked the hotels if we could defer seating until they arrived. The hostess was very accommodating. Sat at the bar to have a drink while waiting, bartender was very unwelcoming, asked how he was doing when we sat down and got back "busy", no smile, no pleasantries, we felt very unwelcome. When we're seated for dinner, our server did not seem familiar with the menu and had to go the kitchen to get answers to questions that we later realized we're already on the menu. One member of our party has cileac disease and cannot have anything containing gluten. Server assured us the french fries were prepared in a separate frier so there was no risk of cross contamination. They ordered the steak fries, and later, the chef came to our table to confirm they wanted the fries because they are cross contaminated in the fries. We told the chef our server said it was a separate fries, the chef said that's only on weekends and he saw the note on the order for GF and wanted to check to make sure. Thank God for him because that member of the party would have become violently ill. Asked for dressing on the side for the salad, it came with dressing on the salad. Asked medium rare steak, got steak that was below rare, the center was dark purple. And we had an extraordinary wait for our entrees after our salads were cleared, no word from our server. I had to ask the hostess to check on our meals, after a bit she came back and assured us they would be right out. After another delay, the server came back and told us there was a wine tasting going on and they pushed the appetizers out ahead of our meal causing the delay. And when we finally got it, the steak was I'll prepared. This places has all the right pieces, but fails to execute, experience well below par for this price point.

   A lovely meal on the patio. Delicious food and friendly, professional service. The trout was perfect.

   Beautiful April evening on the outdoor porch. Nice and quiet although only two other tables in use. Food was good as was the service. Maybe a little pricey but in the end within the bounds of a nice, French restaurant.

   The whole experience at Bastille was very enjoyable. Easter brunch selections were all delicious, showed deliberation, and very beautifully presented. Server was excellent - friendly (but not overly so), efficient. One gets the feeling that every single element of the restaurant has been scrutinized in order to perfect.

   If you like French food I highly recommend Bastille. Their hours are limited. Service is excellent and they have a good selection of wines and beer. They have prix fixe meals too

   We enjoyed Easter brunch outside. The quality and value of their dishes are consistently high. The extra care they take in the pairings of flavors and drinks along with their amazing presentation all make their dishes a cut above!

   Another wonderful visit to Bastille, this time to make the most of the beautiful weather and delicious food on Bastille’s patio. I had the monthly special, trout almandine, and my wife had the steak frites - both were excellent. Impeccable service and atmosphere as always.

    A friend and I had lunch at Bastille on a Friday afternoon. The service was excellent and food delicious. We wanted to share some of our dishes and without requesting it, extra plates were provided with a smile. We were well attended to but also left alone to enjoy conversation.
