   We came for the Halloween spooky woodland walk, which was fun, and stayed for an early tea. It's a lovely setting, the bar was nice and cosy, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our food, very tasty and good value in such nice surroundings. Would recommend Bartle Hall for large or small groups.

   Lovely grounds around the hall, although a bit muddy. The hall is lovey inside, but we were sat next to the door and it was drafty. Babies and children crying - which didn’t bother me, but my son is autistic and the noise bothers him. The food was very average - but gorgeous chips! So expensive for what we had!! Won’t be repeating this due to the price.

   We went to do the Halloween walk and had lunch first. The homemade pie was excellent, the children's chicken was good but rather expensive for a child at over £8. The head waiter wore his mask just around his mouth only, not covering his nose. There was plenty of space around our table. We had to wait ages to pay. A little short if staff I think. After our walk, which was very good, we sat outside and ordered coffee and cake, the cake was an individual muffin which was solid, heavy and not nice to eat, I did not pay for the cake. Beautiful surroundings outside.

   Food and service were excellent.We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

   The Spooky Halloween walk was a nice gentle activity with my young family, followed by a lovely lunch in the dining room. My little one particularly enjoyed the Halloween special dessert.

   I know it’s as per government guidance but the whole issue around no alcoholic drinks until your cutlery is set out is a bit of a funny one!

   Beautiful setting and building. Friendly reception staff Knowledge waiter. Very attentive. Good choice for lunch at a reasonable price.

   Nice food, had to wait a while to be served. My little girl wasn’t feeling well so we had to leave without doing the Halloween walk which was a shame
