   We went on taco Tuesday and it was very crowded and service was slow. My taco came out and it was cold and the cheese was not soft. Disappointed

   Messed up our dinners. Took 4 trips back to the kitchen to get it right. Mine came with egg on wrong taco, no cilantro (that was my wife’s request) and the chili relleno taco was…interesting. The third one the brought me actually had some cheese and all three had a little strip of a chili. The meat in both of our chili tacos had chunks of tough meat difficult to bite through. We love Barrio Queen and have been to the Arrowhead and Desert Ridge restaurants several times. Too bad Scottsdale has left such a negative impression. We had told ours friends this was one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Doubt they will be letting us pick again.

   Not enough guacamole in the order for the price. Okay drinks for happy hour, wouldn't buy otherwise. The food was fair but two of the people we ate with they didn't like the chips cause they were thick. I felt the cost was high.

   I have NO idea how this restaurant is still in business. Food was awful, no flavor. Even the chips were bad. We were seated on the very first table at the entrance and even then our waiter couldn’t seem to see us. We never got water refills to be able to swallow the extremely salty food. Anyway, the only good thing the restaurant has is its location in the center of Old Town. Never again.

   Wanted to try some authentic Mexican food and heard the table side guacamiole was excellent! It was really good and fun to watch and the chips were tasty. The 2 tacos were tasty and very authentic…i had the fried fish and grilled shrimp. B and T had carnitas, fried fish and K had short rib.

   Long delay for a table even tho we had a reservation. Manager comped us 3 appetizers for our wait, but when we asked for the bill they were not comped. Had to walk around the restaurant looking for a server or manager to help us because no one had been to our table for over 30 minutes. Food tasted great as usual tho!

    Service was inattentive, food was cold and bland- did not taste fresh. Also bathroom was filthy. Very disappointing
