SHELTER IN PLACE UPDATE: As we work through these crazy times, we are open for take out. You can come by and order in person, order online through our website, or call in your order at 415-416-6989. We are open from noon - 8:00pm daily. PS: If you own a growler, bring it in.

Barrel Head Brew House is a modern restaurant and brewery all in one. The brewpub serves all-American grub, signature beers and creative cocktails in chic surrounds. The menu features over three dozen beers on tap, brewed in house. Barrel Head Brew House also serves classic bar grub like smoked wings, tomato salad, grilled flat bread, fish and chips and burgers. Enjoy your meal in the main dining room, by the lounge or next to the cozy fireplace.

A popular watering hole, Barrel Head Brew House offers several specials during the week. Happy Hour runs every weekday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., while weekends launch with a sumptuous brunch.

Service was the worst I’ve ever seen in San Francisco on a Saturday night. They had one server for the entire downstairs (maybe they were down wait staff?). A little annoying, but we deal with it. The bad part, and the reason for the review, my father got really sick from the food. I’ve been here so many times throughout the years, and I’m disappointed to say I won’t be returning. Across the board, a poor experience.

Friendly neighborhood brew pub with decent food and great ambiance. Both in house and guest brews are great. Favorite plates are fish tacos and mussels.

Great selection of beer. The food menu was somewhat more extensive and definitely higher quality than standard bar food ... e.g. the fish and chips was not greasy, the chips were herb seasoned.

I made a reservation for some very important people in town. I reserved it over a week in advance and requested a table or booth by the fireplace and there were no tables available when we got there. The hostesses barely knew I had a reservation

Great food, from the bowl of BBQ garbanzo means, to the lumpia appetizer to the beer buttered fish & chips, which came with a great dill tartar sauce. Great service too.

First time visitor there. Really enjoyed the food, the drinks, the whole ambiance of the place. Our server was very well versed in the different beers and was door on with his recommendation for me. Dinner was prepared just to my liking and tasted delicious. I have already mentioned this place to several of my friends.
