    We visited this place on a date, and I was so pleased with the choice. The food was outstanding from the appetizer to dessert. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. It is not a large place but is good for families as well as intimate gatherings.

    Honestly, we used to come every time we visited. It was clear from the get go things were different. Our steak was cooked incorrectly, something that never would have happened at the old Barons. We waiting an hour and 45 minutes to get our food. An entree was missing an ingredient and we had to point it out to them to get something to replace it. Apparently they thought it was not only fine to serve it lacking, but to do so without informing us. They were out of ribs, which does happen, only we didn't find out until at least 10 minutes after we thought we placed our order. Also, a party that was as large as ours, and came after we did, got their ribs. I had to remind them I had ordered a soup and really everything was just already going down hill. We finally had enough and had to flag down a manager, who offered only an apology with no other compensation and then just avoided us the rest of the night. Then the owner came, and you think things would be set right. Except the owner made it incredibly clear she didn't care about what we had to say. Everything we said was wrong with our meal, our food, or our entire experience she just offered excuses and blew us off. She refused to even take the included tip off of the bill, which is ridiculous considering our experience. Towards the end, she even said she didn't need customers like us and that her customers love her. Apparently they've only been open around 3 weeks and largely skating by on the old Barons reputation. Literally almost all reviews and images do NOT belong to the new Barons so don't be fooled. These people clearly have no idea how to run a restaurant. But it's fine. She doesn't need customers like us.

    I signed up for open table, just for this review, because it was that bad. This restaurant recently changed ownership and no longer deserves the name. The current owners are skating off the reputation of the old place. We used to go to this place every time we came to the area and it was always excellent, not so anymore. To start we made a reservation ahead of time and still had to wait approximately 15-20 minutes for another group to leave so they could move us to a properly sized table for our party. Once we were at the correct table the appetizers came out in decent time, BUT that is the where the night took a major turn for the worse. 3 of our party ordered ribs and it took 20 minutes before they found out they didn't have any. Meanwhile a party of 8, who were seated after us, received their ribs. Then we proceeded to wait for OVER AN HOUR between appetizers and actually receiving our main courses. Once we FINALLY received our main courses the steaks were not cooked properly, a major sin for any reputable steakhouse. I ordered mine, medium rare and it came medium well at best; and that was not the only mistake. One of our party ordered a salad that came with pears. They were apparently out of pears and not only failed to mentioned this when ordering, served the incomplete salad anyway. It took asking about the pears for them to say anything about it. When all of this was brought up to the floor manager, all she did was say sorry and proceed to avoid eye contact for the remainder of the night. Once the new owner came over, she not only defended each and every mistake, but refused to make any concessions what so ever and refused to comp anything. And on top of this said she did not need customers like us. The whole ordeal lasted well in excess of 2 hours, we can never get back. Never returning to say the least. These new people have no clue how to run a restaurant.

    The tuna was amazing along with the steamed oysters. The new owner was there and she is going to make this place wonderful!

    New ownership. Very friendly staff and owner was present and talked about future plans and goals. Oysters casino was very good, as were the drinks and great bartender/gm, and owner. strange current layout. Poor side selection, which is going to be updated. Steaks were good size and average priced. Tables dont fit theme of a nice steakhouse. Regular crowd for the bar.

    The restaurant felt like it was located at the end of a strip mall. The interior has an outdated feel, with bad lighting from standard 60 watt light bulbs. The tables were tired laminate, something you would find in a local bar. The music playing was soft rock 80's. "Lady in Red" and "Waiting for a girl like you". When we arrived, I mentioned our reservation for seven people. We were escorted to a table for 6 and the server quickly moved a chair into place. We could see regulars at the bar, that looked like they had been there since they opened. Other than that, the place felt empty. Before getting served, we considered walking out. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table that was off. We then ordered a different bottle of wine. One guest received a cracked wine glass and another had lipstick on his glass. They were taken away. Our server was clearly stressed but was trying his best to keep things going. The Food: My steak was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Everyone in our party thought the steak was great. The desert was hand crafted. The chef obviously knows what he is doing. If the restaurant was overhauled without changing the menu, it would be five star. Instead it's 2 star at best. It was definitely a night we will never forget. We won't be going back.

    The steaks are fantastic, the salads are very basic iceberg, thrown on a plate and drenched in dressing. Service is just ok. This was our 3rd time here with same opinion each time. We come for the steak

    My husband and I have been to Barons at least 8 times in the last year and half, the food is always wonderful!!!! We have yet to have the the same wait staff more than once!! Service is average if not questionable!! Example, waiter had five table, and unable to keep them straight, overwhelmed with little to no help! But the place was not all that busy!!

    This was such a great place to go for steaks our waiter Marc was great and his cohort Dee was a hoot. Wonderful place for Steaks if your tired of Fish when here for vacation. Seems like local place and most of the times those are the best. LOVED IT
