Barney's is a restaurant serving elevated American cuisine in a "country style" Inn. Everything about the experience at Barney's is designed to reflect refined dining, from the beautiful plating to the attentive and helpful staff.
Barney's menu is a fusion of new American cuisine and classic French cuisine. All of the produce used in the kitchen is procured from local vendors, The filet mignon has been voted the best on Long Island by local publications. The signature"Famous" Long Island Duck has also become a local favorite. The large selection of seafood along with our fresh seasonal salads and weekly specials will not disappoint.

Our dining areas consist of the Hearth Room (dining room w/fireplace), Bar and Parlour which can also be reserved for private parties. We also offer outdoor dining and a have special areas for private dining. Anything from small intimate weddings to baby showers and any other special occasions. Barn holds up to 45 and the outdoor patio up to 60.

Excellent as always. Mike and Christina are the two best hosts. Ari is so solid and a great waitress. Food was fantastic!

The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had! My husband had the Ahi Tuna and loved it Nice selection’s good service great dare night.

This was THE most unpleasant dinner I’ve had in a very long time A small intimate quiet dining spot turned into a raucous party with a table of 10 who was so loud I had to run out with a headache The owner saying to me I should have asked to be moved instead of apologizing and asking the table to keep it down and where would he have moved me anyway?? It was so in appropriate I’ll never return

We are so sorry to hear that your experience wasn't what you expected. Our restaurant is indeed a small and intimate space, but we also welcome groups celebrating special occasions, which can sometimes bring more energy to the room. We strive to balance a lively atmosphere with a comfortable dining experience by utilizing the other dining rooms. A request to sit by the fireplace clearly was not worth it in this instance. So sorry again.

Our dinner was outstanding. There was not one thing we were unhappy with. Service was excellent and all of our meals were delightful!

We had dinner on Valentine’s Day at Barney’s and quickly decided to book another evening with friends. The food was excellent and the atmosphere with the fireplace going, and great service made for a wonderful evening once again.

We have dined at Barney's often but Saturday unfortunately, the staff got my order wrong twice. There was a table next to us that was extremely LOUD and OBNOXIOUS. for a restaurant that is small and quaint this made dining very disappointing, especially since we were celebrating my birthday with friends.
