    The food, ambience and service was all amazing! My husband and I were there for my birthday and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best food we’ve had in a long time. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. He gave us great suggestions and was timely. We will definitely be back and I can’t wait to bring my mother-in-law and sisters here to enjoy.

    Uneven food. Appetizers and salad were excellent as were the drinks. The steaks were disappointing and the bar service was super slow. Not great value for the meal or experience.

    From start to finish, the staff were attentive, kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our server, Daniel, was personable, funny, and so helpful (knew the menu items like the back of his hand!) All of the food was delicious (especially the steak..) We had the lamb gnocchi (with cube bread as recommended by our server!) chicken katsu, the steak tasting, mac and cheese, and broccoli di ciccio (enough food to bring home leftovers!) It was our anniversary (which multiple staff congratulated us on!) and we received a complementary Nutella Gelato! Will definitely go back!

    My son said it was the best birthday dinner experience. The food, service, and atmosphere was spot on. Would recommend Bardea to anyone. Thanks Marko for making my son's birthday experience one to remember.

    Each time we dine at Bardea Steak, it's a different experience...and that's a good thing! Last time, we ate in the garden in September and it was simply one of the best meals of the year for us. This time, we sat inside on a quiet-is night with two friends from Philly who had not been before...and it was again terrific. Perhaps not as profoundly great as our September time but still top-notch. I truly love the place and cannot wait to return.

    Server  was great and very attentive. Excellent quality of food and drink. We had to wait an exceptionally long time between our salad and the entrées no fault of the server

    The whole staff was fantastic and the dishes were both beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend the shrimp tacos :) everyone that touched that table was amazing!

    A “just okay” experience this time. After going for our anniversary and being so impressed last year we were looking forward to returning to Bardea steak. Unfortunately this visit out was a bit of a disappointment. Were were immediately asked if we were there for restaurant week, and were only offered the prix fixe menu. We ordered cocktails during our first interaction with our server. Unfortunately it took 45 minutes (!!) to get the cocktails to our table. In fact they didn’t arrive until after the appetizers, and mere moments before the bottle of wine we also ordered. The cocktails were excellent and probably the best part of the night. When we ordered I asked to see the regular menu as well, as we wanted to supplement the Prix Fixe menu with some additional sides. The server came back to inform us that it was either all restaurant week menu or all regular menu. No additions off the regular menu allowed. I still don’t really understand why we wouldn’t be able to order and pay for additional sides? The food was very good, not great. The lamb on the lamb gnocchi was not very flavorful but the gnocchi was great. The beef empanadas were cheesy and tasty but filling was very “juicy”. The steak was cooked perfectly, and tasty. Pichania was served in a more traditional steakhouse style without the fat cap, but the thick cut lent itself well to a mid rare temp. The highlight of the meal was the broccoli di Ciccio that was served with lemon and chili crisp and made a delicious combination. The loaded potato was also good, but the leek sauce was the star of that dish. The s’more dessert was good, but didn’t pair well with the berry sauce it was served with. Overall a good meal, but just not the excellent you expect from the name and for the price. We got the feeling that we should be lucky to be there for restaurant week. I think we’ll skip Bardea steak for something else next time.
