   We had a wonderful time with terrific food and wine. Loved it and will go back after the Corona virus threat ends.

   It was the worst Macaroni & Cheese I have ever eaten. Possibly the worst Macaroni & Cheese in the world.

   Amazing food, amazing staff. They treated us amazing and even gave us complimentary dessert both times we went.

   The food was average but not too expensive. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice with a fireplace in the middle. Our waiter was terrible. I am pretty sure he was high. He forgot multiple things on our order,

   I have never had to write a rating this poor because I have always made good dining selections. The Rafters has lost control of its place. They gave our reservation to the wrong people so we were put in the loud bar, We had to go get our server. The food was not edible. Ordered a rib eye steak and they forgot to make it. Received that plate cold and tough. Bought it home for our dog. So many mistakes to our order i will not bother to write them. We were a party of 6. Do not try this place. Too many things wrong.

   Great place to dine. We had a party of 16, and they did an amazing job. Food was excellent, service was great.

   I reserved a table hours before the reserved time, when we walked into the restaurant at our scheduled time, the hostess was saying to another patron using expletive words that we just requested the reservation 1 minute before and that she was going to cancel our reservation. I told her that it was MY reservation and that I had made it hours prior. As we waited for them to find us a table, another patron came in after me, slipped the hostess $20 and the hostess gave them a better table before seating us even though they had no reservation. Since we were seated at a terrible table next to the restroom and kitchen, we noticed the manager yelling at our waiter for an order he apparently got wrong at another table, however the waiter (Kevin) did a great job and was very friendly to us. Other than the terrible host and crummy table we were given, the food and drinks were good and moderately priced, highly recommend the "Pigs Wings".

    Having a place in Mammoth Lakes for almost 40 years we have seen quite a lot of changes. We have always enjoyed Rafters and we were elated when it reopened after being closed for many years. At first the food, service and ambiance was beyond excellent. In the last few years things have really changed for the worst. We went to dinner on Thursday night after making a reservation (which was unnecessary as the place was nearly empty). We were a party of four and asked to sit in a booth. We were told we could not sit in a booth as the kitchen was being cleaned (at the dinner hour)! we sat at a table and after ordering a group came in and they were sat at a booth!! Very poor customer service... The waiter was attentive and engaging and the food was okay. Probably will not go back. We were very disappointed
