   I have heard lots about Bar Sardine and was lucky to snag a reservation. It definitely lived up to the hype. The food was delicious and our server Alana could not have been nicer. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. 10/10 experience and I will be back for sure!

   Experience was so-so, but I truly think it was an off-night for them, so will try again! Coming from NYC and being a frequent visitor of France, it’s not normal to pour your own wine. Additionally, when we ordered our food, they were out of several items and then told us after the food started being made and coming out that they didn’t have those items anymore. I think the attention to detail wasn’t there for simple things, especially for a 3-month wait. Right now my opinion is that it’s over-hyped, but will try again to see if that changes and if our situation was unique.

   We felt like we were dining in France! An absolutely perfect meal of Dover Sole, Lobster Ravioli, Frites and wine.

   Everything we ordered was delicious. So happy we finally have a legit French bistro in Dallas. It felt like we were back in Paris. Matt, our server was exceptional. He took great care of us.

   I know every restaurant in Dallas, & this one ranks #1 for worst experience ever, especially compared to the value. We had an 8:30 rsvp & called to see if we could come in at 8:00 & told absolutely not. We arrived at 8:15 and only one table in the restaurant was occupied. The menu is very limited, which is fine, but they finally had the 4th wine we ordered & were out of the caviar, entree, and dessert we tried to order. They pretend to be a special venue experience, but it’s not. You will park at CVS, so take your toiletries shopping list with you. You can maybe pick up some wine there too, since the restaurant is out of so much. Honestly, save your money and order Papa Johns Pizza for better food, or go to the mall food court for better service.

   I think the AC was broken perhaps? We were all sweating and all of the candles lit were maybe exaggerating it? But the food and service were amazing!

   The chef came to our table and welcomed us. We had oysters that were delicious and hamburger and truffle fries! I can’t wait to go back! Pineapple margaritas were out of this world!

    The hostess in the front was a little rude but the vibes and food were SO good once we were seated!! We split the filet, fries, and bucatini and it was all delicious. Plan to come back to try more things on the menu!
