   We ate lunch and dinner several times at Bar Ocho during our recent stay at the Marriotts Los Suenos. We loved the food! It was a great mix of appetizers, local foods and more bar/grill options. Loved the nachos and guacamole! The hamburgers are huge! The only down side to me is their soda - if you are a soda drinker - there is not much carbonation :) The servers were friendly and acknowledged our status/loyalty program each time and brought extra treats to thank us (dessert or small specialty drink). We enjoyed the view from the patio for sunsets and also the big screen TVs for watching sports. Prices were moderate and fair considering it is a restaurant in a resort.

   Great atmosphere. Steak was rare, medium was ordered. They re-cooked rather than starting over, like most steak houses would have done.

   The food was awful. For the price it should have been great however we all left without finishing it. The servers were nice but the food and drinks were lacking. My son said it best nothing had any flavor. There are better options nearby.

   Christmas Day Dinner Everything was fantastic from the cheese board to salads to the wonderful steaks and side dishes . We are never let down. My daughter is a big fan of the rolls and butter❤️

   Review your prices, not even for rich people... the level of service you get for your money is disproportionate to a gourmet steak house experience and waiting tables quality—

   I read the reviews that is was a great place for steak and they were right. We had outstanding steak also cooked perfectly the first time. Would highly recommend going here. It is outdoors, but covered and there are TVs so it maybe is not romantic. It is what you expect for ambience on a 18th hole.
