Die Bar Barossa in Lüneburg ist ein außergewöhnliches Lokal, das japanische und thailändische Küche verbindet. Die sehr umfangreiche Speisekarte bietet z.B. eine Mango-Curry-Ente mit Wokgemüse, gegrilltes Thunfischfilet in Teriyaki-Sauce, Schweinefilet oder einen vegetarischen Salat mit Feta, Tomaten, Gurke, Walnuss, roten Zwiebeln und hausgemachtem Dressing. Sushifans werden in dem Altstadt-Restaurant ebenfalls glücklich, die kleinen kulinarischen Kunstwerke gibt es in klassischen und kreativen Varianten. Nicht zuletzt ist die Bar Barossa auch mit viel Stil gestaltet. Fachwerkhausromantik geht hier wunderbar zusammen mit roten Ledersitzen und üppigen Kronleuchtern. Zum Essen ein asiatisches kühles Bier oder eine Flasche Wein bzw. Sekt und das kulinarische Glück ist perfekt. Die Bar Barossa in der Unteren Schrangenstraße verfügt zudem über sehr guten Service und wir können sie insgesamt wärmstens empfehlen.

    Wer hier nur auf einen Drink oder ein Glas Wein (der war ganz gut) herkommt, wird zufrieden sein. Ein großzügiges Lokal in einem alten Fachwerkhaus mit hohen Decken und schönem Ambiente. Wer allerdings beim Essen mehr erwartet, als die Standardfritierware aus dem Großmarktregal und in Sojasauce und Kokoscreme ertränktes Gemüse, sollte ein anderes Restaurant wählen.
