The food is wonderful. Excellent service. Fun atmosphere. A bit absurd that they ran out of their signature dish by 6:30pm on a Saturday evening, but otherwise a great meal.

We loved this place! Food, crowd, service and atmosphere. (E.g., The ceiling is lightly covered with tree branches populated with flowers and you could run a scavenger hunt in the place just searching out the cool details.) Before you go, take the time to check out their menu, a wonderful collection of disparate choices. We loved the place and it was a great place to eat (and have a drink) before going to the theatre at the Huntington Calderwood (same block.) If you're novel-food-timid, get help from the wait staff to pick out seductive dishes that will encourage you to be less timid in the future. And the drinks menu? Daring! Fun and worthy sharing with your dinner partner(s) who are 21 or over.

Our waiter was fantastic. Food was good, as always and they were even willing to turn down the music when we asked. Felt a but more like a dance club than dinner at first but they were great…

Overall excellent. We have dined across the city and it was surprising that just in our backyard there was a spot like Banyan. Do not overlook.

Truly great service (attentive, kind, fast) but the food was only okay for the price. Good place to meet up with a friend but a special treat, not a restaurant I’d frequent for dinner.

We went for a before theatre dinner. We got there before 6 so were able to take acetate of happy hour specials for dumplings and spring rolls - both of which were excellent. Server was attentive and lovely. Great dinner options but not so impressed by the deserts which we skipped
