   Absolute DISGRACE to women! Both management and hostess stand. SEX SHAMING at it's finest. My wife was wearing a designer, black cocktail dress that was lower cut, definitely not showing anything inappropriate. She was told by the hostess that she didn't meet their 'Dress Code'. This was done very publicly in front of numerous other guests. When we asked for a manager his response was "We will let you in this time, but next time you need to cover up." Talk about utterly distasteful, sexist and degrading. She was appalled, as was one of the other hostesses who kept apologizing for management. Never again will we visit this establishment and we will spread the word as to the absolutely abhorrent behavior of the manager and staff. For those in doubt, attached is a picture from that night in the very dress where we attended numerous venues and had an amazing time. Take a stand and AVOID this SEX SHAMING establishment.

   This restaurant is worth visiting again and again. The atmosphere is upscale casual, but come as you are. They have managed to achieve a warm welcoming upscale atmosphere while everyone is free to come as they are, with many people first discovering the restaurant as visitors to old town Scottsdale. The campfire steak and cornbread appetizer are amazing! We will visit whenever we are in Arizona.

   Although the restaurant is noted for its rotisserie chicken/meat; I am a vegetarian and have been dinning there for years because the chef makes an amazing vegetarian plate

   Had a wonderful first date at Bandera. The dark wood and surroundings are comfortable and inviting. The pacing of the meal was just right and we both thoroughly enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and the deviled egg appetizer. Will most certainly return again.

   I received probably the worst service I have ever received at restaurant on my last visit there. It was almost as if our server was deliberately trying to give us bad service throughout the meal. The food was decent but it was overshadowed by the terrible service it kind of ruined the meal for us. Not sure if our server Ann was just having a bad night or what her deal was. Really disappointed. I love houstons and hillstone so expected much better.

   Really appreciate the great food and excellent service at Bandera! I'm never disappointed! I also like that it is in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. My out of town clients always comment on how much they enjoyed Bandera.

    I keep returning to Bandera because the food is wonderful but unpretentious, the ambience feels special but not fussy, and I always feel like I was well cared for and received great value.
