   My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Balawoo. We were staying at an airbnb up the street and wanted to do a fancy dinner one night. This place was perfect. They had a lovely musician and the staff were so welcoming. We split a bottle of wine and had the 3-course meal. The food was incredible, especially the catch of the day and dessert. We highly recommend!

   The service and food was excellent. They decorated the table for my husband’s birthday- which was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend.

   The farmer’s garden salad was refreshing and delicious. The ginger vinaigrette exceptional. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The grilled shrimp and soba noodles were also great.

   very nice restaurant at the resort! the treehouse is beautiful and i got the lionfish ceviche which was my favorite dish! nicely presented, service was just ok but otherwise an excellent place for a special meal.

   The food was mediocre. Our ribeyes were not the best. We ordered medium and were served well done (we had to return them) Our server was not the friendliest compared to the rest of the pleasant staff. Definitely can’t beat the ambiance and view. What made our night was the live music in the bar. Would not return to dine there, but would definitely return for some drinks and the entertainment!
