   We went to this restaurant with our family today, and the food was delicious — especially the kebabs, they were very tasty. The salads were great too. They have a very popular salad called the Baku Crispy Eggplant Salad — I highly recommend it. The service was excellent, and everything was clean and beautifully presented.

   We have made a reservation via OpenTable for our party of 6 adults, planning to have an evening of conversation over dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite busy, but after a short wait we were shown inside to our table. When we sat down, there was loud music playing through the speakers. Seeing that it was too loud to have a conversation (and loud enough for several of us to get a headache in the short time we spent at our table), we had asked first the waitress and then a manager (owner?) to lower the volume. The waitress acted altogether rudely and snarked that this cannot be done. The manager later said the same - he was not rude, but not helpful. We asked to be moved outside (where there is no music) or to a quieter spot inside, but were told they could not do it for us. There was zero interest to make our visit more pleasant, and we had to leave and go to a different place in the area, which turned out to be very good, with very pleasant atmosphere. I wish the staff at Baku were more accommodating and friendly. I also feel that OpenTable should do a better job indicating the type of ambiance in the restaurant and give an option to reserve a table in the quiet or loud sections.

   This restaurant is a good find. The entrees are priced very fairly and the quality of the food is very good. Our server Olga was fantastic, checking on constantly us even though she was running around. I suggest the Greek salad which is plenty and absolutely shareable amongst 3-4 people. The trio spread (humus, babaganoosh… don’t judge on the spelling) is good but it didn’t come with pita bread.. so we ordered the pita bread on the side ($2 per pita which is pretty expensive). Other than that, everything was great! The lamb was cooked to perfection. The desserts are shareable and the drinks were spot on. We will return and bring the extended family.

   Always and consiatantly great food and service- we keep coming back. Pretty loud inside- but they have live music- so perfect if one wants to dance and have fun- if you prefer a more chill atmosphere - grab outside seating. Must make a reservation- the place is always packed. Love it!

   Excellent food if you like Azerbaijani, Russian and Mediterranean food. I liked it very much. Service remains a challenge for this place. We ordered an appetizer, soup, and main course. The main course came right as we were finishing the appetizer. I asked about the soup , they promised it was on its way. We finished the main course and no sign of the soup. Our soup came about 8 minutes after we were done with the main course No apologies and no acknowledgement of the screw up. They automatically added 18% for service!

    After reading the reviews I was excited to eat here. It was quite the disappointment. The food was expensive and lacked flavor. It was dry and the little sauce provided didn’t add much to it. A pile of raw red onion, no flavor dry rice and 1 skewer that had a little flavor but was dry was disappointing. The server was nice but never came back and asked if everything was ok. I would not return or recommend. Sorry
