   This was my first time at Bakersfield, and I was super excited to visit. My friend and I came, and we placed our order for food and a margarita pitcher. Everything took sooooo long. The pitcher came first and it was the wrong margarita. We waited about 15 minutes for this to be remade. The food took about an hour and a half to receive from the time we ordered to the time we ate. We only ordered 3 tacos a piece, yet they took an exceptionally long time. For tacos, this should never be the case. The restaurant was fairly full, but not packed to capacity. What was even more strange was that when the food came out, it wasn’t hot. We also ordered queso, yet it was a very stringy consistency. You couldn’t scoop it up with a chip, I literally had to cut the queso with a knife and fork and put it on the chip. They should relook at their recipe for that. This experience wasn’t ideal at all. Memorable for the wrong reasons. I will add that management covered our tacos and queso due to the wait (which was a nominal cost). We still had to pay for our pitcher which was the main cost at $52.

   Unfortunately what a disappointment. Our server, Molly, was great but the bartender was a fail. We arrived early before our reservation, thinking we could grab a drink to celebrate. We stood patiently waiting at the bar. Literally was there 15 minutes while the bartender blew us off. He was quite rude. We finally called him over to place an order. As we started our order he put up his finger and said he would be back. Waited another 5 min for him not to return. He really needs to be addressed

   Service was a bit slow. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. Industrial stools do not make for comfortable seating or a pleasant dining experience!

   Best Spicy Margaritas in Town.. We had reservation for 2 but ended up with 4. They where already very very busy but still let us squeeze in!

   Everyone in our group really enjoyed their whole meals. They were accommodating for food allergies and the service was great overall.

   If you are looking for a quick dinner, I would suggest this place. If you are looking for a nice dinner date, I would not. From drinks to dinner it was only a 20 minute date. I wasn’t impressed by the food either, everything came out minutes after ordering, and all the food was luke warm at best. I was very excited to try this place. I love Mexican food and was excited to try a variety of tacos. We were also sat in between two other tables which were close enough to hear each of their conversations which made it uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy our own date. I liked that the margaritas weren’t made by mix and that they used fresh lime, they were very good. I really wanted to love this place, but our first experience was not very good.

   We LOVE this place. Bryan (probably misspelled...sorry!) was our server, the place was packed to the rafters but timing was on par. Everything was fantastic- roasted cauliflower, the seasonal hibiscus/orange margarita was top notch! Can’t wait to come back and try more delicious foods🥰

    I like Mexican food but this was not my favorite. Good value during happy hour and the service was great.
